Bora 1.25” spacers manufacture says no loctite?

Ive heard some spacer failures are improper torque but a lot have to do with wheel not fully seated on the spacer because people dont use the right spacer size and lug or lug nuts stick past spacer face

 

just installed some 1 inch bora spacers today, and did not use loctite. Torqued them down to 90 and will check them tomorrow again.

 

my paperwork said 63lb torque for spacers and 90lb torque for wheels

 

I didn't have anything on my paperwork about torque specs, but I do know our lugs need to be at 83, not 90. That seems a bit suspect

 

yeah my tire shop went up a bit on torque. Mine said 63 but went to 65 on the spacers and I went to 90lb on the wheels

 

Interesting. Yea took the spacers up to 90, but when I re torque them I'll keep the wheels and spacers at the same spec and I'll check them every rotation. But I'll more than lilely contact Bora also and ask just to be sure cause I've read a lot of different things.

Lol, some dudes are doing them at 70lb torque on the spacers

 

Just read the paperwork again and it said to set them at factory specs. I'm just going to drop them down 83 tomorrow when I pull off my suspension.

 

mine are 12mm so that’s 70lb torque and I went 73. I thought I went 63 but it was 73
