this GB is now official, see new thread
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/group-buys/323094-bora-wheel-spacer-gb-feeler-6.html

    all soft leads have beenmessaged.

This group buy is for wheel spacers from Motorsport tech. Motorsport tech has done 3 other group buys with TW and we are shooting for a fourth. I am not affiliated with Motorsport Tech. Please visit http://www.motorsport-tech.com/ to view the spacers. THEY ARE HUBCENTRIC.

Currently, the GB is unofficial, the vendor is taking a week vacation to catch up on old orders. If you want to be on the soft list please post, I will be messaging the participating members of the soft list to receive more info, and at that time a new thread will be made. The past discount amount was 25% off pricing of spacers, shipping not discounted.

Yes, I know that. But he mentioned his "vendor" as you can buy the same items from different websites at different prices. It's pretty hard to figure out a 25% discount off the price, without knowing the price.

Wasn't saying anyone else was making Bora spacers, but I'm sure there is more than 1 site to buy them from. Would have made sense to put that info in the OP, just my opinion.

Can someone provide me on some clarification. Just put on FJ Trail Team wheels on my 1st ten double cab. It is my understanding that those rims have 5.5" backspacing. If I wanted to return to my truck to stock back spacing of 4.5", I would need 1" spacers correct? Can someone tell me the quality of the bora's versus spidertrax? I see a lot of folks running the spidertrax on here.

1" of wheel spacer = 1" less backspacing

spidertrax vs bora : really up to user preference, but I bet 25% off will be hard to beat. more people are running bora from what i've noticed. i haven't done much research on spidertrax, but i've dealt with bora before and they are great.

Just to clarify, Google the bora spacers. They are available from this vendor as well as eBay (of course) and Amazon. But thanks for taking my suggestion and clarifying your op. Makes a bit more sense when you are trying to set something up to give all the info that will help people determine if they may want to be involved in the gb or not.

On that note, good luck. Hope it works out well.

Wow. I came in here cause i was partially interested in the idea of the gb. Your op originally lacked information which i inquired upon to not only help myself but others in the process. For some reason you seem to take issue with this.

    Your new edited op states:
" This group buy is for wheel spacers from Motorsport tech, the only person I know of selling Bora Wheel Spacers (also producing)."

Which is directly why i mentioned that eBay and Amazon both sell them. At no point did i say anything a out them doing a gb because obviously they wouldn't.

Like i said before, good luck with your gb.
