Yeah planning on a RTT and either round or square I'm not picky

 

You can check my build, i did square, either way it's a PIA unless you can buy a kit. If you can get a kit, you could come to the mod day I'm planning. I'll give you a hand with it

Haha, it was still fab related so I'll let it go...this time.

My magnetic angle finder and my tubing bracket should be here tomorrow. That's what I've been waiting on to get my tubing bent. I want to do it right!

I'm working on the location of my de sta co clamp cleats. I have to get that right because once the lower tubing brace is on, I can't drill the area where the cleats will be. I'll be working on that tonight.

By Hi(ish) clearance, do you mean you'll be cutting?

 

Yeah, I'll be cutting for high clearance but I won't be building for the ultimate in high clearance. If that makes sense.

 

Why do you have to start this after I ordered a rear bumper. I would have worked with you again ;p
Maybe so we could do mine at the same time.....
Good luck with the build and I will be keeping my eyes open for progress. Also from never using a bender before and using it on my sliders for the first time. Use the measure twice cut once method. Or in this case bend once. Easy to do and if something does not line up right you can always cut the tube use a lug and rosette weld and straighten it out. It will end up being stronger in the end. If it is just a slight twist, a lot can be hidden during welding as bends seem to open with heat.

I had no problems with twisting but I may be a bit precise with measuring. Although it was late and we did manage to bend the tube backwards on the last bend because we were in a rush. That's how I know about the lug. Final product is stronger and you can not even tell it is there. If its good enough for NASCAR it is good enough for me.
