Considering that the muffler is so much less expensive than the cat back exhaust, will someone please tell me what the cat back gives me that the muffler alone does not?

    Thanks

I'm not sure it does much, honestly. All it does is replace the exhaust pipes from the Catalytic converter heading back to the muffler, and then to the tip.

Unless you're changing pipe diameter... it's all just pipe for the most part. Not going to make much difference MPG or HP wise. It's all about sound really.

I think the only difference is the cat-back is a straight bolt on, so it’s easy to install.
