Anyone swicthed out there stock muffler for a borla? I heard the borla mufflers sounds good. What do you think of a cat back vs just changing the muffler?

I haven't seen any cat backs yet, but that's what I'll go for most likely when they do come out. There is someone up here who posted a Flowmaster that sounded decent for a v6. If you can find a good muffler shop, then go for changing just the muffler. That all depends on how good they are. Personally, I'd rather have a true cat back.

Borla on my Fox Body mustang sounds insane. Have a Borla cat back on my wife Rubicon JK and had it on my F-150 Limited. Love the sound of them. and top notch quality.

I had a borla on my 2007 tacoma and like it better then the magnaflow and flowmaster. Its not loud but has a mellow tone to it. It all depends on what you like.

    again this is a 3rd gen thread so I am inquiring about a 3rd gen aka 2016 not a 2007 not a 1997. Those are not the 3.5L V6.

Flowmaster Super 44 muffler swap. Sounds pretty good.
