    Scrapped my factory dunlops at 5k miles and put on 265/75/r16 Hankook Dynapros. Got a nail through the tread 10k miles later (patched), other than that I'm still rocking them at 40k miles with about half tread. So I'll probably run them through the fall of '15 and then replace them for the winter. I should be at about 47k miles on that set by then.

    Not a fan, but I grit my teeth and go. They have gotten a little less friendly as I have gotten older, more of a "your an adult so lets just do this" type attitude. But I would rather take some discomfort and anxiety to get some piece of mind.

    Like you, when I was a kid I didn't mind going because it seems most DMDs are a little more patient with children. Now I just enjoy the dental assistants at my office - not hard on the eyes at all.

    I haven't gone back since my braces came off when I was 19 or 20. Still don't have any cavities but I'm not a big soda drinker nor do I have a sweet tooth.
