I was selling dismantled basketcases for $600 to dudes who were prepping to put $5k into rebuilding these bikes to they could roll up to bike night with something "unique" and "different." This was around 10 years ago. I loved cafe bikes since I was a kid, so when I started buying old bikes, I was in heaven. I miss grabbing CB360s for $500. When the price of used CB750s skyrocketed and they were turned into total abominations, I knew the end was nigh. While I like the original aesthetic, I'm "over" the whole thing. It's like the dudes who were into American Chopper just moved over to '70s Jap bikes and started chopping them all up to make god-awful monsters. Now I just want something reliable, safe, and can crank (electrically) on cold mornings. I'm tired of popping the clutch on a slick hill on cold mornings.

We have it printed hanging in our house. The photographer actually got around 30 pic's of the entire crash. This is the best.

6th-10th grade was the prime era for poorly-timed boners. Dang ol' hormones, man.

Nice little mid day jewel reading for errbody! A lot of these are repeats but some new ones that took me back again

Growing up in the 90's, remember when…

    1. Your cabbage patch doll ate your hair…
    2. Or your sister’s hair.
    3. You had the entire collection of the Berenstain Bears books.
    4. You watched Nickelodeon Guts and Legends of the Hidden Temple.
    5. You sang, I got in one little fight and ma mom got scared, and said you’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air…
    6. And you got ready for school to: iiiiiit’s alright, because I’m saved by the bell.
    7. You played Heads-down, 7-up at the end of gym class...
    8. After burning your energy on butt-scooters.
    9. You collected ALL of the stickers that came in the Spice Girl lollipops.
    10. You challenged your brother or sister to who could pogo stick longer.
    11. You watched Bob Ross paint an evergreen tree.
    12. You had a life size baby doll, but got sick of it and made your mom carry it.
    13. The Mary-Kate and Ashley movies were the greatest thing that ever happened in life.
    14. You played mancala on play-dates...
    15. And determined that you would have 18 kids after playing M*A*S*H.
    16. Your Nintendo 64 stopped working so you blew on the game...
    17. And if it got really serious, you used Q-tips.
    18. You wore your hair like Baby Spice everyday for one solid year.
    19. You had a total crush on bad boy Sean...
    20. Or good girl Topanga.
    21. Trading pogs were life-changing decisions.
    22. You were defined by whether you were an N*Sync fan or a Backstreet Boys fan...
    23. Or a Britney or Christina fan.
    24. You had a pencil case with 10 different metallic pens, and lots of furry pencils...
    25. And all of your folders and books were Lisa Frank.
    26. You knew Mila Kunis for her face in Lisa Frank ads...
    27. Not her lesbian scene in Black Swan.
    28. You thought that you were the inventor of saying “heyy? with two y’s: So. Cool.
    29. You had a spray fan in the summer...
    30. And you were a total badass if you used your finger to stop the fan. No fear.
    31. You either summer slammed someone WWE style (probably your little sister)...
    32. Or you got summer slammed.
    33. The extremes of your punishments ranged from “No Full House tonight,? to “No Full House for a week.?
    34. The day that you discovered how to write BOOBS on your T9 graphing calculator…
    35. Was a great day.
    36. You would run your WarHead under running water ‘til it got sweet…
    37. And your lips turned blue from your OD on Kool-Aid.
    38. Your favorite after school snack was either Dunkaroos or Gushers.
    39. Who the hell ever made it to Oregon, anyways? You always died of dysentery.

Jealous! That sounds awesome. It's been a LONG time since I was down that way - but used to live in Charleston as a wee baby Navy brat.

At least tomorrow is a half day, and I have some exciting plans after. Just makes today last that little bit longer.
