I will drink an IPA every night. Sometimes two in the hot summer nights. Only difference now is I have to have water with it and I sacrifice some sleep cause I have to pee in the middle of the night.

 

DAMN THE 30'S BLADDER!!! Man I thought I was the only one. I could drink 15 beers, 4 shots, and chug almost a gallon bottle of water at the end of a night out...piss before i go to bed, then never piss again til I wake up the next morning whenever that may be. Now I drink 5 beers on a weekend evening while I grill out, chug a 20 oz bottle of water and piss 5 times through the night.

 

no joke the 30's bladder! i'm the same way even if i drink water before going to bed.

 

Everybody still alive and kicking around here?!

Thread is deader than dead... I am to blame as well. Life, kids, and everything else gets in the way.

*Note, I will not respond to anything after about 8PM CST for that is my bedtime. I will respond first thing in the morning by 7AM CST because that is what my life is now. Weekend or not, because I have to have my coffee no later than 7!

Ok, well since it’s been revivied and I never knew it was even a thing... I just turned 39.... about a month ago so I’d better get in here fast before I time out! Hurrah for NOT being a millennial. Though I apologize not all (or even most) of you can say on this thread...

 

i like to call it border line millennial's cause it was still before shit really went down hill!

 

I can drink coffee and take a nap 5 minutes later. Coffee has no affect on me.

 

I’m the same way for naps...

But if I drink coffee after 4 or 5 pm I’ll lay awake for hours in bed at night before I fall asleep.

 

Wife and I just had our third son, we’re both 36. In some way this child has been easier than the last two but we do not have the same energy as before. With my first child we were 28 and we’d both be up all night with kid and go to work the next day no problem. Now I’m zombie man if I don’t get a full nights rest.

 

We had our first kid last December and i'm 33. Part of me wished we would of had it a few years ago for the same reason, felt like we had more energy before. But financially we weren't all that set.
You think it's might feel easier cause you have older kids to help out?

 

For sure. They’re 8 and 6 and surprisingly helpful.

Also having gone through it before just makes things easier. Less worry and for me I’m better at being in the present. I still catch myself, with my oldest, thinking/worrying about the next phase of his life.

Things like that.

 

Well I just found this thread being bored at work. 36 year old fucker here and about to be an empty nester here in about 2.5 years.

I haven't read all 4700 posts but I'm sure ill get there sometime. cheers !!

 

That's good to have and good split between your older kids. ya i think the worrying part to a point is going to be never ending!
