any of the major brands components or even coaxials will be vastly superior to anything OE or bose (wherever you got the crazy idea of bose, who knows). you could get the entry level pioneer/kicker/kenwood stuff and most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference vs. higher end expensive stuff. the acoustics, etc in most vehicles, without some massaging, just aren't that great. and again it would be worlds better than the OE crap or blose. you can make OK stuff sound great with proper power, some sound dampening and nice baffles.

i tend to stick with alpine because it has always pleased me and proven to be very durable. OP be sure to check out the audio/video forum here.

the components up front will fit from both series. i don't think you want components in the back, but if you want full range back there you can run their coax - they will fit. seems like overkill to me for a rear setup but you guys are talking about some crazy shit anyway so why not? haha

BOSe is for people that dont know jack about sound systems. Its just a gimmick to get you to buy their crap at the mall.

i'm very familiar with them - great stuff, but they are incredibly high end and running such in the rear is pretty unconventional for rear fill...complete overkill. you'd be able to get away with the TR coax and still be at the top of the heap for rear fill. but like i said, you guys are talking some NASA status home audio so anything goes at this point lulz.

Bose is good for the people who can afford a decent setup.

You seem to know your shit. Whats a good option for car audio ?
