I have all types of lighting alterations on my truck and have zero issues. But then again I also went with very expensive components. You get what you pay for and the difference is incredible.

    I installed:
Xenondepot Xtreme HIDs with Phillips Bulbs
    Phillips Ultinon LED Fog Lights
    Diode Dynamic Interior LEDs

I did very clean installs with everything zip tied, dielectric grease, and electrical tape around all connectors for the engine bay.

    Wrong.

The 15 amp fuse in the truck is not enough for all HID ballasts. Some will be fine, others will not be. It's not a universal given.

This is why we can't have nice things.

It was a fuse. That should have been checked by you as soon as the lights stopped working. Well before you posted on a forum. But not every one knows the basics, and in that case, you should have checked your fuses after it was suggested on the forum you came to post on that you do so. Instead of that, you ended up at a dealership, because YOU didn't know how to fix it, no matter how simple the fix was. The guy who fixed it, did. And you pay him, because it isn't his job or responsibility to take care of your bs problems for you, for free, and he knows what you don't. Apparently. Things cost money. I don't know what you do for a living, but I maintain 160 Detroit diesel DD13's. I get paid xxxx amount of dollars, even if it was one 1/2 cent O ring, just because I had to shine a light on the thing. You know why? Because the other guy can't. So whatever it is YOU do, I pay to you, assuming that you could actually do something I can't. End of story. Nobody in the Toyota food chain owes you anything in this case... yet, they took the hit, because you had your Pouty face on. Sell your truck.

Yea, might want to switch dealers for a while. I can almost guarantee OP is on the " special customer" list now.
