I drilled two small holes in the bed liner and attached my opener with bolt/nut/washers. Honestly it felt so solid with just the bolts threaded in I think the rest was unnecessary.

I've got Pedro's (bike tools) opener mounted to the wooden box part of my sleeping setup in the bed. One of my buddies has his mounted to the plastic. it's plenty storng but being the OCD individual he is, he mounted his with bolts and washers behind it "just to be safe".

Just use your seatbelt buckle, in the same "lever over your index knuckle" style as a lighter. Or the rail built into the bed side if you're out back. Toyota already solved your problems.

I have a 1952 International Harvester refrigerator with a built-in magnetic bottle opener. I took it off and found a new place for it.
