I have a 2010 Taco, ext cab, 2.7L, auto. On the console at the very top of the shifter travel past the P is what looks like a push button switch. The top of the switch is missing so I can't read what it is? I've pushed it in but couldn't tell what it did/does? All assistance appreciated.

I think you mean the drive selector bypass. If your truck is off & the key is out and you need to take it out of park you remove that plastic clip & use a screw driver.

    back to bone stock.
it's the greatest button if that switch at the brake pedal ever fails.
