I did but they did not break anything so it was all good. i did ask them to do the water pump at the same time since the truck was apart and due to replace and new bushings for the cab. besides that all good. Only thing i lost was my weld on sliders. had to cut them off and that included the gussets, but much happier with my RCI over trailgear anyways.

I was under the impression that whatever they break they have to replace on toyota's dime

When my 05 got done last march they replaced everything they broke. If they got it apart and it was wore out it was replaced on my dime with my authorization. I picked my truck up after they had it a week and a bit and paid an 850$ bill for work I requested. I had to sign a 17500$ warranty bill. You will get new lower control arms and ball joints also with this replacement. My truck always had always had alignment issues so I'm thinking that's why new lower control arms. Truck drove like brand new when I got it back. No squeaks or rattles. I can't believe they did that much work to a 12 year old truck with 270000km. Good on them for fixing yours.

This truck has 93,000 miles or 149668km, I am pretty happy to hear that. I don't mind paying, it sounds like its going to be a pretty good deal in the end. I am pretty impressed by how easy this was, toyota is really stepping up replacing all these frames.

After some of the stories I read here.Consider yourself lucky. For some it wasn't an easy process at all. I'm glad it worked out for you.

Don't pay for anything they break. Refuse. They tried to charge me $1200 to re-install my suspension and plate bumper. I argued until it was all free.
