Well, I have been "needing" a shotgun for the house, and the local sportsmans warehouse was having a sale on these, so i picked one up along with the heat shroud and the ammo clip.

I do actually have a question though. I would like a new foregrip and a flashlight mount but dont know who a good retailer is for aftermarket parts for the 870. Anyway, here it is.

I've had my 870 for years. I love that thing. It's killed many birds and 2 deer. Those things are workhorses!

Good looking gun. Surefire makes an awesome forend with built in flashlight. To save some money though, you can get a barrel clamp mount and get a light that fits. Just google them, there are tons out there. www.midwayusa.com is a good start, so is www.cheaperthandirt.com Egay even has some decent deals sometimes. Happy shooting!

Nice choice, I've been thinking of getting an 870. My best friend has one with the ammo clip, pump grip flashlight, and collapsible stock and it is badass.

I keep the marine stainless version behind my bedroom door fully loaded. I do not keep one in the chamber because the "chunk, chunk" sound will hopefully make the suckers start running. I love a moving target.

Its loaded with three birdshot loads to keep from penetrating the drywall followed by two buckshot loads to finish the job if the birdshot is not enough.
