A pair of Philips Xtremevision H4 halogens might change your mind about that. 50.00 shipped, plugnplay. Those bulbs were tons better than whatever came oem. Yes, you can spend 500.00 on some retros too but Give those bulbs a try. They put much more useful light on the road than it had to begin with and you won't be beat down for violating the blind everybody else rule by putting HIDs in halogen housings by the light police.

Python 574 Remote start/Security system, reusable cabin air filter, led map and dome lights, led bed lights, switchback dtrl's, aftermarket dual halo projector headlights retrofitted with TRS goodies, foglights on anytime, Illuminated 4X4 switch, Redline hood struts and EZ down tailgate, Weathertech front and rear floor liners, Black Westin 4" oval step bars
Moose1988: I bought 3rd gen dual halo projectors from ebay and was curious how the retrofit went with the morimoto mini h1's....was there a size difference between the lenses.....how difficult is it to retrofit?

I'm considering doing this retrofit....just need to know what I'm up against

This is what I have right now

Honestly, it was pretty tough. I went through two sets of my ebay lights, and lots of time and frustration. It would have been easier if I had a garage though. I have some write ups on It. They arent very detailed unfortunately..
