Bought headlights from a TW member that are damaged. What would you do?

Looking at his posts, most of are legit, either asking for information or responding to other posters that gave him info. So, it does not seem he was just here to dump the lights and run. It may work out for you.

 

I’m not gonna drag his name through the mud until it’s confirmed.

 

You got scammed by @TheTurk. Those pics were stolen for ebay seller bensauto22.

Found multiple pics of other products that have the exact same black marks on the backdrop...

Get a crate, you and the lights go in the crate and mail yourself to his house. Won’t he be surprised when he opens it.

He deleted the original post when he was originally called out dude. Either that or the mods deleted it bc it wasn’t original pic of item. Then a few days later he relisted it. Writing is on the wall.. I literally was about to PayPal this dude money then something came over me about the guys saying pics were from eBay so I steered another direction

Op, you definitely jumped the gun on your thread/post. You don’t wAit 30 mins and start a thread, then link the thread and say your not trying to drag his name through the mud when that’s kinda what your subconsciously doing

BUT…

… then there is this fine detective/pi work that actually confirms a fraudulent sale. So your post may be justified just pre-ejac a bit. sorry you have to deal with this, it sucks (I know). Hopefully at this point the seller has a conscience/plans on sticking around.

next time I’d wait at least a day before starting a thread though because 9/10 times it wouldn’t be justified to jump the gun

I’ll keep this in mind if it happens again, hopefully that never happens though. I agree I did kind of jump the gun, I was understandably pissed when I opened the box when he said they were “Brand used” and “9.9/10” though
