I'm a working man, I understand how it is to be on the otherside as well. I stand by my word that these were in excellent condition prior to shipping, meaning NO SCRATCHES. Had they have not been, I would have stated so in the listing and not have spent so much time packing these things up for this member. I even gave him real time status updates on the packaging.

Getting off work to find this negativity is pretty upsetting, OP please be honest with me that you did not create those scratches yourself upon installation

Since the pictures in the ebay listing from a east coast seller and the TW post from a west coast seller appear to share the same back drop are there any other pictures that the original seller took?

I'm going to be honest, these were from google images. Yes I should have taken my own images for security purposes. At the time, they were stored at my parent's who lived 2 hours away from my house. I would have been more than willing to have supplied more thorough images if they were requested. Lesson learned

Lesson to learned, op should request more photo at special angels to make sure the seller are real. That’s what I always do even the guy it’s local. So I don’t wast my time to meet up.

Don't believe you, those were keyed or knifed and you replaced them with new and sold these off.

    You’re both at fault.

IF they arrived damage OP should of take a pic still in the box after opening. Or a video after discovering the damage after opening one. Instead of roasting up a thread he should of contacted the seller before hand and had a discussion.

seller should of used photos of the actual lights he was selling. Also should of taken new pics right before sending them out, just in case of damage during shipping so buyer can see the state before hand. Also in a case like this where OP is claiming they arrived damage and were sold that way.

It’s always best to cover your ass. Especially with how grimy people can be today.

Then why did you delete your first thread when people pointed out they were eBay pictures? Your story doesn’t add up.

Not pointing the finger at anyone, just an observation from a 3rd party.

It wouldn't seem like @Redline870 installed your headlights. His plan was to do a retrofit and use your lights while the retrofit was being done. I cant imagine he would install "damaged" headlights, from the sounds of his gripes in the original post.

    Unless there information missing somewhere.

That was exactly my thought. Sorry but the seller seems the less believable in this situation.

I’m not saying there was purposeful deception of hiding scratches, but there also hasn’t been much of an offer to try and make it right. More of a, sorry I think you did it so oh well.

The seller saying didn’t have photos and they were two hours away is a weak excuse at best.

The mods intent behind having photos is obvious, that they expect photos of the “actual” product. Circumventing that intent, without seeing a problem with it, speaks to a lack of integrity by nature.

All of that makes it hard not to take the buyers side in this one.

Bro. You’re full of shit. Who doesn’t take photos of their own USED product that they’re trying to sell. You knew these were messed up, you knew you were fucking someone over, but what you didn’t know... is that it would turn into this.

OP didn’t install them, he said he was using it for a retrofit. S.M.H.

    People like you fucking blow.

The only thing that matters is that the seller was deliberately untruthful in his post by using photos he found on the net and represented them as being the photos of the actual headlights. He did NOT use OEM photos and he did not disclose that the photos were not of the actual item he was selling. That right there disqualifies this sale - he should take back the headlights and reimburse the OP.
