Bought My Bed Mat from the Dealer

It worked again. I looked across the internet for the best price (I could find) for a bed mat. Went to my local dealer Fitzgerald Toyota and asked the Servicie Manager, who I've gotten to know over my rear spring TSB, if they would match it. He went to the parts department for me and said it would be in tomorrow.

Price, $74 plus tax. Fitzgerald Toyota has been great.

I paid the 11th and got it today.

 

It's not the same one the dealer sells, but I got mine on eBay for $41.99 + shipping, which came out to ~$60 total. It's fit for the longbed but scored so you can cut it with a utility knife to fit the short bed. Fits perfectly and works very well. No complaints.

I figured out why Toyotapartsoutlet wanted to charge me that misc $5 fee. It was because of using paypal.

Paid with my CC so it's all good now.

 

Nice find, the normal FedEx rate for that site to my place is $50. Free shipping for March, I better think of something heavy I can't live without.

 

Eh, basically put, I got fucked. But I've got enough coming in the mail right now, so I paid $119 for mine. I'll pick it up at the dealer Wednesday..

Well unless I can talk them down when I get there.. lol
