    Hey bro,

I got the 2887 and 5100's (3rd gen) up front. Love them! they settled a little bit but it gave me the 2 inches i was looking for. I'm 23 up front and around 23 inches in back.

A word of advice, go with the dever AAL. It keeps a good ride quality and give you 2 inches with the OL spring. the short AAL like the procomp and toy tec squeek a lot! I know guys that have it and hate them. IT also makes the ride quality pretty shit.

The ideal way would be swap them out for 888s, but that's expensive and a pain. The easiest and cheapest way is to throw some 1/4" spacers on top. You won't need extended studs on the shock to accommodate them and ride quality won't be affected at all.

If you already have the 1/4 inch spacer on the driver's side to compensate for lean you could move that to the passenger side and install a 1/2 spacer on the driver side.

Thanks so much. I will just do the spacer. Thanks for the advice. It rides great to I don't want to mess that up.

If I go 1/2 inch all around will I extended studs?

    Merry Christmas Guys

Depends on your tophats. Did you buy yours preassembled? If so, it may have long enough studs on it already. If you've got 3/4" of stud sticking up above the nuts, you're good. Any less and I wouldn't be comfortable enough. I want at least 1/4" of threads above the nut holding the shock in for peace of mind.

Spacers are all the same IMO. It’s just a machined piece of aluminum.
