    Spend some time on the V-Twin forums if you want to see sarcasm. And yes, don't over think things too much when it comes to a vehicle you've never experienced before. This is a little like someone buying their first Harley and worrying about the vibration and a motor that sounds like everything inside of it is having a drunken brawl.

    Definitely drive it for a while before tuning. That being said, I do a lot of city/mountain pass highway driving and frankly I was pretty annoyed at the transmission and pedal response by the end of year one of ownership. Tune cleared a lot of my annoyances up. Having a MT would have cleared MORE of it up, but different fight for a different day :cool:

    There is a rather small, but kinda fat, book in a compartment by the front passengers knees. Open said book, it'll tell you quite a lot about the 35k vehicle you purchased. It will tell you more informatively than a few knuckle heads on TW with "TW-Mechanic" degrees. Follow said book and drive :thumbsup:
