    I had a 16 limited Crosstrek and LOVED it. I only traded it because I needed a truck and hauling shit. The AWD system is incredible and resell is very high.

    Update:

    Girlfriend picked up a 18' Crosstrek on Monday. IF you're still thinking about getting one, the 18 is the way to go IMO.

    Have your wife pick one out, then throw the car on craigslist. Once it sells (for more than trade in) finding a car will be easy.
