If anybody is looking for thier next shop tool purchase. The little hobart is a 110 plasma cutter with an internal air compressor. All you need is an extension cord and 110 power to cut with it. It will cut 3/16 plate if you go slow it says it will cut 1/4 but that is pushing it. I think they are about $1000 but it is worth every penny.

I'm stuck at work untill 4:15am but I'm heading to work on my truck a soon as we get off. If I can get the steering done and the axle in place I can trailer it back to my house and have it finished in a few days. This has been the longest night just waiting and waiting and.......

Just a little update. I did talk to all pro and I was told that they were going to send me new lower links and they said they would send me a new link mount but I told then that I could probably get the mount to work. The shock towers I have are the correct ones but the instructions are for the old kit not the new one. They changed where they go but apparently they didn't think it was worth changing the instructions on it. I never recieved the new lower links I was promised so I'm going to have to buy a damn 1 1/4 " tap to fix them. Needless to say all pro will not be recieving any good reviews from me. Not really into bashing anyone but after considering the problems I have already had with this kit I have to say if you are considering a sas go with anybody but all pro off road.

Motion wasnt open but I was able to force them with a long cheater pipe. Got the inner ps plate welded in new crosmember in frame reinforcement plates tacked in steering ready to be connected after a little more welding.....all the little things are just taking too much time. Going to get back at it in a couple of hours. I do remember how much I hate grinding though. My biggest complaint aside from the physical defects in all pros kit is the lack of even semi detailed guidelines when installing it. I am having to guess at far more than I should be. Now for the real kick in the teeth when I got the truck in the shop I noticed it wasn't sitting level after measuring both sides one was almost three inches lower than the other. The driver side spring was almost flat while the passenger side looked ok....WTF all pro? It seems I spent over $4000 on a bunch of poorly made crap.

There has to be something wrong with the shock towers they sent me. If I put them in like the picture they sent it will be in front of my brake booster and i will have to cut a large part of my fenderwell out. In the pic I was sent they just Beat it back out of the way. I beat the hell out of it with a three pound hammer and it isnt even close to clearing.

I talked to them today they are going to send me a new rear spring. The shock towers aren't made correctly so I have to modify them to get them to work. I have a Lott of pics showing what I have had to modify/fix that I'm going top post when my new computer gets here on my phone now....

Ok, it's been a while haven't had much time to work on it. Here's a few pics of the ds frame and steering reinforcement. The joint for the steering had to be modified to work. It had splines on an area that couldn't have them a few minutes with a die grinder and problem solved.

Here are the shock towers all pro sent me. They weren't even close to fitting I went back and forth with all pro and finally one of the guys there told me I that I would have to modify them to get it to work. It looks like their fab guy was drunk the day he made these they aren't bent in the correct position. Both sides were bent in the same spots but no matter where/how you put them they weren't going to fit where/how all pro said they would. I ended up having to cut my inner fenders out for them and more or less recut the bottom of them to get it even semi-close to where they said to put them.

This is the ds link mount. It holds the upper and lower link on the frame. The hole was just far enough off center that you couldn't get the bolt to go in. I had to drill it out big enough to let the bolt start then drilled a small piece of 1/4 flat bar the size of the bolt. I then bolted the 1/4 to the link mount and welded it. Guess stuff happens...

I almost got lucky on the upper link but not quite. welded in a couple of pieces of scrap in to support it untill I could get back and work on it some more.

Here are a couple of pics where you can see the lean from the rear springs. You can see the ds spring is flatter than the ps one. The guy at all pro told me to take them off measure them from the floor to the pin and he would send me a replacement to match one or the other. I haven't had time to do that yet.

This is the upper link mount on the axle it's almost right...almost. My mistake I was in a hurry and didn't check everything before I welded it. Turns out it's about 1 inch off location.....remember measure twice.I was thinking I could just adjust it with the links but it hit the panhard bar.... barely. No big deal.

My panhard bar and steering arm. The angles aren't perfect but they are close enough that bump-steer shouldn't be a issue.
