SpareBumper.jpg Spaerbumper2.jpg Yeah Yeah Looks like Ass and won't appeal to most. I am a function over form kind of guy. Especially with regards to a truck.

Anyway for $139 this thing makes it Much Much easier to step over the tailgate to get into the bed and offers shock protection vs 20 MPH impact. I can back into a wall now...or take a hit from a cell phone user. I was going to get a bump step and a Bed Step but this takes care of both and adds some protection for far far less than $500 those two accessorizes would have cost

Did not buy the SuperBumper as I will use a standard receiver hitch for towing,

Are you creating a "safe space" with this bumper? ;)

Supposedly prevents frame damage from rear end collisions, but not really effective with our tin Tacoma frames that are completely totaled at 20MPH rear end collisions.

After SSN593 Thresher sank The class became the "Permit" Class SSN-594 The check valves for the EB System were installed an worked well ....thankfully

I did not like Boomer duty. 70 days in a circle and running from anything we heard. The three months off. I never felt ownership of the boat with two crews. The Attack subs were the place to be for "fun and games" and surveillance. When we heard something we tracked it Fun times. The crew was much closer as we "owned" the boat. The Sonar shack was a fun place in the SSN. Didn't much care for Groton and Holy Loch either.

I only toured on one boat, and it was a boomer. I didn't mind the schedule because I got to see my wife more. But underway was incredibly dull. Thanks for your service, and it's nice to see a fellow bubblehead on these forums.

Indeed. Back at you Shipmate. We are few and far between, I was married as well and boomer duty was actually tougher because we could only send family grams at the time. On the attack boat we hit a few ports on West Pacs so communication was better, But yeah those three months off were nice especially IF you did not get the Summer/Christmas side of patrols. We were home for a year in San Diego only going out a few times for drills and stuff. Maybe a trip to Bremerton for dry dock now and then.So I was actually home more on the SSN (other than three day watches on board in port) . It was a full year between WestPacs.

Nothing is illegal in South Carolina.. no inspections here. It really does not sit much father out than a receiver hitch. Its just a lot wider.

They make these WITH a ball mount for towing, I would rather just use a standard ball and receiver for towing so I bought the cheap one.

One of the best things about living here. I think since we have some of the worst drivers in the country apparently they kinda gave up on our driving laws....

Someone's going to run into you just by looking at all the stickers. :D

Not a huge fan of these, but it's your truck. If you like it, rock on

We don't need no more laws. If LEOs see something wrong, or badly smoking, they will stop the vehicle and write a fix it ticket. Selective enforcement.

I much prefer that to yearly inspections by the State.

I took the two off the back. Leaving the ones on the side. Was a bit much. They actually aren't stickers , they are made of metal. Need the reflector though.

I like it! Are you able to measure the length from the edge of the truck's bumper to the outer edge of the SpareBumper? Trying to see if the added length will fit with my garage door closed. Thanks.
