Car is sick looking. Can't say that I would get rid of the Taco for it but I would buy that over most other cars. Can't wait to see what aftermarket ideas and mods come out for the car.

There is already a turbo and a couple of body kits out for it.
My wife traded in her 2010 scion Xb Rs (release series) 7.0 for the FRS.

From what I understand is that the subaru BRZ is also all wheel drive and more of a luxury version (costs about 10,000 more than the FRS)
but look amost exactly the same on the outside.

 No, the Subaru version is the same exact vehicle, just with a stiffer suspension and a nicer interior.

There will be no AWD version of this car as the motor sits too far back and eliminates any room for a front diff.

Congrats for the wife on her new car! I really like these and can see myself getting into one in the future.

I'd love one as a second vehicle. Everyone i know who has driven them say they are an amazing drivers car. As far as speed, plenty of cars for the same money are faster in a straight line none of which will come close to matching the handling however. with that being said I've seen a few sources test them in the lower 6 sec range to 60. More than sufficient for a car meant to be thrown around curves. besides just a matter of time til someone goes forced induction on one.

x2. would be a nice second vehicle! if i had something like it. i would be on dragon every weekend. 318 curves in 11 miles is fun in the taco but at same time it’s not. because they are tight curves with apex being smaller than my DCSB.
