I just bought the Cali Raised Led side projecting lights, I really wanted the Rigid Duallys. I was looking at another thread and they looked pretty good, so I pulled the trigger. I like to go to Shotgun Creek in Eugene and I always end up getting there late in the day. My kids live in Eugene, so I drop my wife off and grab my son in law and we go out and go wheeling. A couple years ago I bought my wife A 14 4runner, Trail Sport Premium. Right after we got it I took it to Shotgun Creek. I didn't how to drive it and didn't make it very far. I took my old Tacoma up there and made it all the way up. I was stoked, I filmed it but didn't get a good shot cause it was dark. I think these ditch lights will help me document my conquests.

I don't want to bus roll this member, I believe he was leaving on vacation and sent me the wrong ones, I do want to clarify that @r.shackeford was not the member that bought from. I was trying to buy his and this other member PM'd me and I bought them.

I’ve edited that post to put a note that he was not the actual seller.

@Fiatdave please post this member that ''accidentally'' sent you the wrong lights, so the rest of us can ''accidentally'' avoid doing business with him.

The seller of these lights already posted in the thread, but appears to have deleted it. I’m sure he’s watching, so let’s see if he comes clean.

It was not @r.shackleford, I was trying to negotiate a lower price with him and at first he said no, then this other member PM'd me and offered me the item that is the issue. This member was leaving for a week at Moab and was not able to respond to my questions about the brackets. @r.shackleford did offer to sell his to me at the price I wanted to pay but I had already purchased the other ones. I am sure that the member who has almost 3000 posts here on this forum would out himself if this was the way that he did business, so I don't want to bus roll him. If there was another incident that was posted by another member having a similar issue as I did then I would jump on the bandwagon and reveal his name.
In my mind I didn't know or have any experience with these lights and was asking for help in getting these mounted on my truck and not looking to put someone down. I do think that posting my question did help expedite the resolution of the issue. I am sending those lights back to him tomorrow and he offered a full refund and also to exchange with the ones he meant to send. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt and an opportunity correct an issue before they have their reputation tarnished.
I work in retail and I always tell my customers that if their experience isn't what I described then come to my office and I will make it so, service after the sale is way more important to me that before, because you already have my money. I ended up getting a new set of lights from Cali Raised Led with everything needed to install for $134. They aren't the Rigid lights, but they have a great reputation and I am confident that they will allow me to record my night time excursions much better.

I really appreciated the support I felt from the members here when I asked for assistance and look forward to meeting other like minded people in my area to meet up with in to go wheeling and hang out with.

Great post. Besides the fact that you said caliraised has a great reputation. Lol. Garbage company imo. You should read through their faux grille thread.

Microsoft started in a garage, I wish my nut wasn't so big that I could start a company in my garage doing what I love instead of sitting behind a desk 50 hours a week to pay for my sliver of the american dream. Makes me want to look to them first for any products they sell that I want going forward.
    Hats off to them!

Haha, you almost made me think that! But seriously though, you might want to do some research about caliraised. I understand they're a big company (which hints that they did something right at one point in time), but their recent "actions" have been....a lil questionable.

Not sure what you are referring to, they have a good reputation here and for $134 for the lights, wiring and security bolts, I wouldn't expect them to be top of the line. I am sure that these are made in China like everything else, nice thing is Cali raised is in America and if they are crappy, I can deal with them and at least understand what they are saying.

Check their faux grille and ajt fob threads. False advertisement, lying to customers, shipping items different than advertised....etc etc. Caliraisedled aka chinaraisedled :rofl:Their customer service has also been terrible lately. For 70$ more you could get a pair of BD which are much better and widely available from great vendors here (HS, Wheeler, etc) It's your money and you can spend it however you want and support whomever you want. Just trying to prepare your angus for a possible bad experience. If it works out good for you, cool. If not...:itllbuffout:

I hope that I have a good experience, if not that will suck ass! I was on page 3 of that thread and all I saw was goid reviews and lots of references to China. If I get a year or two out of these I think that I will have got my money's worth.

I'm running some Cali-Raised lights and have no complaints at all. They're not as bright as some of my Rigids but to the untrained eye, it's hardly noticeable. And for the price, you can't really expect them to be. Don't let that dude bum you out on your purchase. Hope it all works out for you man.
