I believe "fuel" is a brand of rims, not tires, but could be wrong. In that case, no, it wouldn't make a difference. We still don't have enough info to determine what your real problem is yet. Generally speaking, a mud tire like you have will ride rougher than stock road tires, but we shouldn't contribute your truck being shaky on tire choice alone; maybe an out of balance tire, but again, fix the root problem before changing your entire truck up, otherwise you're just throwing money away.

I don’t really know much to start. I had an ex tell me to stay away from rough country.

Yep. They inflated mine to 40 all around. Felt like a rickshaw going over speed bumps. Dropped them down to 29 and rode nice.

I would remove the rear block and go with an add a leaf. You will get the lift with actual functionality. It stiffens up the rear in a nice way.

Yeah above 50 it rides bumpy and the steering wheel will shake even if im just coasting. I have to really hold the steering wheel. I put it in four wheel drive once but I have just been driving roads and i heard its not good to drive in 4WD all the time.

You never want to drive in 4WD if on a dry surface. Turning will cause drive-line binding which will lead to accelerated wear or outright failure. If you need to run 4WD just for the sake of keeping things moving, do so on a long straight stretch.

so it doesn't ride bumpy or shaky under 50mph? That's likely just an out of balance tire. Take them to a discount tire near you and have them road force balanced. After that, if you still get vibrations, find a straight path of roadway and switch from 2wd to 4HI. If the vibrations go away, you've found your problem (ECGS bushing being the fix). If not, we can go from there. But first things first, get your big mud tires balanced properly.

Edit: try the 2wd to 4hi thing first, before spending money on tire balancing. Could potentially find the issue there first for free. Then check tires if that didn't tell you anything.

Try this. I had a good vibration that was caused by my 2" leveling kit. Went away after the ECGS bushing install.

Ill go get them balanced they only had the truck at the dealership for a few hours before i drove it. So they didn’t do much to it. If drive in 4wd id better than two wheel how would i fix that?

I just edited my previous post; try the switch to 4hi before getting tires balanced just in case that is your issue. Its something you can check for free before spending money to have tires balanced. If you find a straight path of roadway, going about 50mph while its vibrating, switch to 4hi, and IF the vibrations go away, we know what the problem is. Make sure to switch back to 2wd. The fix is called "ECGS bushing" and we can direct you to the info on how to fix that in another thread. No need to dive into it right now though, as it may just confuse you more. If you switch to 4hi and the vibrations don't go away, its likely just your tires being out of balance. If after that we don't have a fix, we'll search other things, but start here first.

OP my suggestion to you if you want to get a comfier ride would be 2-fold:

    1. Take the spacer and block out of your suspension

    2. Sell your current tire/wheel setup (Or at the very least the tires) and grab some lighter, comfier all terrains at Discount tire.

Those tires are very easy to sell used and the folks at Discount anywhere in the nation will get your new shoes balanced and leave you happy.

If you need help removing the block and spacers, there are tons of people here in the forum who would love to help. Just gotta ask!

I had a dealer installed spacer block lift when i bought my used 2nd gen. Yes, i found the ride 'stiff', bumpy, yet the front end bottomed out way easier than i would expect, with a hard bang against the stock bump stops.

    two things became evident.
    a) the spacer in the front, with the stock Upper Control Arms (UCA) resulted in an alignment Caster# that was at the bare minimum approaching 0. The on road feel is the slightest bump would want to steer the vehicle.
Option is get used to it, go back to stock by removing the spacer, and redo the alignment, or switch out to a different suspension lift that does not use spacers, and upgrade the UCAs to an aftermarekt type that restores the Caster values to be better than 2 degrees.
    b) ride was harsh.
    - upgrade suspension to eliminate the spacers. replace the stock bump stops with something like this : and your ex was right, stay away from Rough Country products; entry level, low cost, but low performance as well.

As you’ve already been told, that is a spacer. It’s a cheap way of lifting the truck that doesn’t improve the suspension performance and can cause problems, but it works for many people.
