    4 inch lift,,5100 ride height shocks ,,3 inch block, 18 inch black wheels
    Hey guys I have bilsein 5100 ride height shocks in front and 3 inch block in rear ,, and my truck bounces a lot any remedies??

    What are your 5100's set at and and are you using the factory springs or aftermarket? A block in the rear, while not the preferred method of users on this site, will maintain your factory ride and should not create the effect you are describing.

    With 5100's on the second setting with factory springs I'm not sure how you're getting a 4 inch lift as stated on your profile unless you are also running spacers, but I digress. With 5100's the higher the setting you have it on the more the factory spring is compressed creating a bouncier ride.

    That's what is so crazy I only have the 5100s on the second setting not even all the way up and I had to put a 3 inch block in the rear to level it out ... No spacers in the front just the shock I'm guessing around 4 inches because of the block

    Just for comparison purposes I have my 5100's set on the highest setting with factory springs and I got just over 2.5 inches of lift.

    Well that's not entirely accurate amigo, a block amplifies axle roll considerably which can easily add to an unstable or bouncy feeling in the ass end. Changing to an add a leaf or an add on tri-pack and ditching the blocks will make the back end feel much better.

    Post a photo that shows the collar the coil sits on, it is a very common mistake that people install that collar upside down and that adds too much lift.

    That could be a problem ,,, I was saying the truck lifted to much just from the shocks and I needed a three inch block ,, anyone have a pic of the proper installation I will have to check mine

    I'm not running a 3" block so I can't comment 100% on his situation but I am running a 1.5" inch block and I experience none of what you are describing.

    Ohh you've got axle roll buddy...you just don't know it and I won't give you any more details otherwise you will proceed down the rabbit hole of new leaf packs and shocks and and and ...and then your wife will blame me for the $2k you " need" to spend.

    Mount a GoPro under your truck someday aimed at your rear axle and go drive around a bit and watch the video...you'll be like this - :eek:
