All right things look pretty good they only need slight tweeks here and there and you should be good to go.
    1. Try to get your front arm (bow) a little straighter and you will want to lower your elbow on your release hand. You may have to rotate your hand on the grip to make this possible. If you use your arrow as a reference in the pic the arrow and your shoulders should be very near parrallel. In this case your shoulders look pretty good and level but the arrow is not.

    2. Get your nose to touch the string! You want to have the tip of your nose touching the stirng this will give you a consistent anchor point. You may want to conisder getting a kisser button installed on the string so you will have two anchor points on the string. Your nose and the kisser button at the corner of your mouth.

You will have to find the right place to anchor your hand. For me I use a thumb release and use my jaw bone between my index and pointer finger as my anchor point.

    3. Stand up straight. If you look at the pictures you are leaning ever so lightly backwards.

The only other picture I could see being useful is one from directly behind your release elbow. That would allow me to see if you are leaning your head in or not. You dont want to lean your head into your bow. You want to bring the bow to you so your head and neck stay mostly straight.

i think the form looks pretty good. i cant tell if the string is hard into your face. nomad has a great point..just tip your head a tiny bit and touch that string to your nose. but it may mess up your peep position.

    i like that bow!

if it messes up the peep position its time to move the peep. It will take awhile until your form gets consistent and repeatable. I typically move my peep at least once after it is initially tied in when I set up a new bow.

agreed! but i remember reading that the pro-shop glued his peep in. maybe the knots can still slide up and down a tad.

Works very well. Tie it I and melt the end so it won't unravel. It's a no bullshit shop. And most of the work is done by 2 sisters

When I shot tonight I was trying to line up my feet to correct me slightly leaning one way or the other, seems to feel better and allows a better feeling shot as well.

When shooting tonight I was rotating my grip and was only holding the bow with my thumb and palm when shooting. Felt great and assuming it straightened my arm as well. felt better IMO.

In those pictures I did have my nose on the bow. also have the string against my "cheek" so I anchor in the same spot every time! loving the tips and I will try to get a picture from behind so you can criticize more! looking forward to it :)

Thanks man! I LOVE my bow, it shoots amazing and I couldnt have been happier with my decision! I am trying to keep consistent with keeping my nose on the string! also trying to not tip my head at all while bringing the bow to my face and body.

The peep actually seems to be just fine after the slight adjustments made. The only part that was glued was a small dab on the string that was used to tie it in.

Thanks again everyone for the help and if there is anything else keep it coming! I am fletching my own arrows and shooting more and more! going to sight in the bow for 30,40,50,60 + this weekend! walked the new range I joined today and its gonna take up all my free time! looks amazing!

Dental floss and fishing line... well thats a new one by me. I've always had my peeps tied in with serving material which is the correct way to have them tied in. Anything else seems like a way for the shop to cut costs.

OP- glad the form changes are working for you. Keep practicing and keep it fun. When it gets to serious its not fun anymore. I spent alot of time doing indoor 5 spot shoots and it was alot of fun in the winter but when I hit a wall and couldnt seem to improve my scores anymore I had to walk away for a bit because I forgot how to have fun shooting. If you get to a point where you dont feel like its fun and you arent improving take a break its much better then trying to fix things that arent broken. It took me years to loose the fun but just a warning. Archery is addictive. Im back at it again but I did loose the fun and needed to to take a few months off. Im back in the saddle again and its way more fun then I remembered.

    Click my build thread!
Form looks pretty good, elbow bent slightly, anchor point looks solid. I can't tell though are you shooting a thumb trigger release? I think you'll kill something for sure this fall!

i've used dental floss in the field as an emergency..it actually works GREAT..and you get that wiff of mint everytime at full draw. i know a shop that uses it too.

me, personally i wouldnt. i like serving it in.. i cant do it the cool way, like they serving in the center-serving, but i am pretty decent with series of reversing square knots. (thanks youtube).

exactly what it sound like to me. Why would a PRO SHOP use dental floss... Serving string isn't even that expensive.

I so far am loving it! thanks for all the help and as of now I cant see myself not having fun with it! my dad and I both enjoy it way too much and have spent around 4 hours yesterday and 4 hours today shooting. Have the bows sighted in up to 60 yards and shooting pretty decent groups as well! I feel like a little kid leaving Disneyland each time we leave, I just want to keep shooting all day! lol

Fixed my grip a little more today! pretty much have my front hand there for support and not gripping much of anything. Rotated my elbow out and straightened my arm which made everything feel a heck of a lot better with the shot and follow through.

Yes I am shooting a thumb release, when I ordered it, I never have shot one before and was skeptical at first with my decision. Cannot be happier though, love how consistent the anchor point is with it and allows me to pull a heavier weight with it as well..
