coke ovens are on private land and closed to public access

Edit: well the ovens themselves are at least, just be cautious of the no trespassing signs

Nice job with the GPS and photos under each number! FYI, to make a degree symbol press Alt and 0186 or 167 (on the right number pad)... so 33 degrees is 33º.

I wish I was in Az next weekend to go on your run, looks nice!

OME all around. SPC UCA. This and that.
Been there done that. Great trial!!. I make Martinez mine my goal or least 300 yards before Martinez mine the goal. The last 300 Yards is really rough Box canyon is one way to get to Martinez mine. I really do not like taking my truck through box canyon without a really good spotter.

The pass you are referring to OP is the "state land recreation permit use permit". $20.00 for a family $15.00 individual. Found this on a Arizona state page. I would send you a link but I am on the way out the door with the wifey.

Ajax mine is North of the box canyon which is a fun trial as well though not nearly as technical. I not sure yet what is going on this weekend so not sure if I will be out there or not.

Kristen and I want to camp out in the desert before it gets hot so we may be out there later like 3:00 setting up a camp north of box canyon.

If I'm free I wouldn't mind hitting up Box Canyon again. Pretty easy trail even for stock (if you have legit skids at least). I've got through stock, with AllPro IFS/Trans/Xfr Case skids only no sliders without incident pretty easy and some spotting. Now it's cake for me hah.... I haven't done to many of the other trails but done some exploring on the random roads along the hill tops and a few wash trails here and there, it's a fun area to tool around in for a day for sure.
