Thanks for the info. I was actually thinking of putting a rack on my camper shell. I don't plan on putting a ton of weight on it, just for extra storage space.

    Yo Adam,

Same question about your rear bumper. Would love to have a boxrocket fab rear bumper.

Have not built the 2nd Gen version yet, but have prototyped the mounting using the factory bed rails. the rest of the rack is the same. With the slightly more complex mounting on the 2nd Gen the Base Price is $320 ($280 for 1st Gen).

I am accepting payments but I'm currently backed up on these. Once you place an order I'll get back to you with my best guess on when to expect it. Probably early February for orders placed now.

As mentioned in the OP I need 50% up front as a paypal GIFT to boxrocket@msn.com

Send me your name, address and the rack options you want in the paypal message. Doesn't hurt to PM me here too with that info.

Currently the best shipping option is using Greyhound. Only downside is you'll need to pick it up at your local bus depot. But the shipping cost is typically in $65+ range depending on your location.

I've considering changing the design to make the legs a bolt on feature to help reduce shipping costs by allowing the rack to be broken down into peices. However, the cost of the extra fab work to make them bolt on more or less cancels out the savings on shipping. Also from all the racks I've done so far, everyone has preferred them to be fully welded. If you really want the legs to be bolt on, just let me know and we can work it out.

You are right, I do have a rear bumper already. Just in case I want to go to a full swing out instead of the cbi hitch tire carrier, I'm most definitely going to go with you my friend!

I added the BoxRocketFab bed rack mod. This thing is LEGIT! Tons of options are offered and BR is easy to work with. I opted for the Greyhound shipping which turned out to be a fraction of the cost and super fast. I am more than satisfied with this puppy! Pics....
