Box under the center console

    Yes.
    Today I pulled the arm rest / center console out of my '07 SR5 TRD Sport and noticed a metal box with a fan and two white wire connectors going into it.

    In this photo: http://s174.photobucket.com/user/CybrThug38/media/PIC_0330.jpg.html the box I'm talking about is covering the void where there are three cables running, it extends back to the mounting plate that has the two threaded bolt holes that hold the arm rest in place.

    This box appears to have an exhaust facing the vents in the back of the arm rest section. Is this an electric heater for the rear seats?

    If not, what is it?

    That would be an inverter.

    Yes.
    Got it, so that's the Inverter that drives the outlet in the bed.
