I heard that stuff works pretty well! Yah, I am very happy with the aluminum.

 

I run gravel roads during deer season and gravel is hard on powder coating.

 

I guess time will tell, but thankfully I have the option to sandblast and re-powder coat pretty easily at the shop if it doesn't work out the way I hope. Plus most things I do I tweak as I go and have multiple iterations as I seem to always find things I want to improve.

 

Not to belittle the truck, but it is an 05.

Yep, got it for a pretty good deal with only 94k mostly because of the fear of the original owner and the head gasket issues in the future. I have some long term plans for that as well if I happen to have one of the engines that struggles to make it past that 130k mark.

 

Updates! Prepped the bumper and a few final tweaks before powder coating and install.
