Bpf skid and tow hook question

im thinking about jumping into that group buy -but have a couple questions- I have a 2018 off-road so it seems:

I’ll need new hardware for the hd recovery hook correct?

I’ll need to use soft shackles vs the standard metal ones correct?

Does anyone make drivers side recovery hooks to match or does everyone typically just run the passenger side?

 

I had to get hardware for my bpf hook. I cant remember the exact soze but if no one chimes in later ill try to find it. I did a search to find the correct size.
I use a soft shackle on the bpf tow hook.

The drivers side is a different hook I believe used for tie down if you are being towed. It doesn't have the same mounting so unless you have something fabbed, I would leave it be.

 

M12x1.25x40mm Bolts grade 8 or higher.
