The ticking I feel and I think it’s the same as the OP describes. Is as if when I apply light pressure to the brake or gas pedal, it’s as if someone is tapping on the bottom of my foot with the end of a pencil . The frequency would be like every second and very light. Wired . I have never had a feel like that on any other vehicle. I think it has changed from the day I got it . So I don’t think it’s normal, but when the dealership can’t figure something out they call it normal. Lol

Yes , I think they call it “probing “. It definitely could be worse. At least they are only probing my feet.

I think it’s always there. Seems like a vibration transmitted from the engine. Injectors? I don’t think it has anything to do with the brakes themselves actually. I still got lots of warranty.

I have this same thing in my new 23' Trail Edition. It feels like a single crack of your knuckle when you press the brake pad. *click, click, click* every time you brake. I'm coming from a 21' TRDOR that never once did that. I just assumed it was the SR5 being lesser quality but it is quite annoying. Again, not coming from brake pads but from the pedal itself... Did it go away for anyone else?

It went away in mine after about 5k miles.

My 23’ just started at about 4800 kms. Not audible - just slight click feel when first get on brake. Didn’t notice until recently.
