Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. Looking for some help.

I'm trying to install a brake controller on my 2012 Tacoma TRD with factory tow package. Based on information online, I'm pretty sure I'm looking in the right spot for the connector, but the one I found doesn't match up with the harness I bought. It doesn't seem to match any of the tacoma connectors I've seen online either. Has anyone seen this before? Could it be a Canada only thing?

That is different than mine. Mine is more square. I can take a pic if needed.

You haven't found it yet - probably still up above / outboard of the connector pictured, and taped in place if not, try removing the dead pedal and the side kick panel. Keep digging - it will be there.

You were right! Found it up higher. Much harder to get to than I thought it would be.

Wonder what the first one is for? Oh well...

Thanks for all the quick replies!
