I am thinking about getting a brake controller installed on my 09 4x4 access cab.
Is this an easy DIY kit? or should I take it somewhere for the install? if so, who?

i will need the controller and the 7 pin wiring harness.

I forgot to add that I have a 2009 4x4, but it doesnt have the tow package. I need the controller and the wired plug that the trailer will plug into.

Don't know how easy it is to install. An RV place or hitch business like U-haul can install them. An audio place might also but they would not be as experienced. ETrailer would carry install kits, if anyone does.
