Just wanted to share how I mounted my brake controller...I put it in the two drink holders in the Centre console....The wire hides in under the carpet in back of the Centre console when not in use..no drilling holes

I put mine directly under my steering wheel, after first cutting the metal bracket down shorter so the controller mounts closer to the kick panel.

yeah, I have to crane my head around to see the LED to adjust it, but once its adjusted reasonably (I found I prefer it set with the level pretty far back from the green/red inflection point), I hardly touch it, except to turn the gain way down if I'm on dirt.

yes, I know, mine is a gen.2, but this mounting position is pretty generic.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
UM...... WTH am i looking at? Is that a bunch of oddly cut and mismatched scrap lumber with some sort of felt or foam on it to protect the cup holder finish while attempting to lodge itself in place? I promise that i am not trying to be an a**hole but for the love of Christ please tell me that is a joke?.... No one would really put this in their Taco right?.... Come On!!!!

That's creative... Just looking for positive feedback. You loose a lot of other functionallity of the interior with that method.

I just installed the same controller in the pocket to the left of my steering wheel. It is a tight fit but easy enough to take it in and out.
