    Hello all!

I've had the truck about a week and I'm starting to research all the new goodies I can get for it. I come from 'car world' so I'm completely uneducated in certain areas.

I'm looking to get a trailer brake controller but I don't know what brand is good? They range from $40 to $100 on eBay and Amazon ... just wondering which brands are decent / good for the money.

I don't plan on towing a lot but it's one of those things that I would rather have and not need than need and not have. The most I plan on towing would range from a couple jet skis to a car trailer / uHaul moving trailer.

OME 885's Nitrochargers w/ 1.5" AAL with 1" lift block, Redline hood struts, front/rear winch wiring, Blue Sea systems Fuse Block, Spidertrax spacers, Wet Okle seat covers, ECGS front diff Bering Replacement
Spend a little more money on the controller, and you'll have less headache later on. It's one of those things you don't use very often, but when you do, it just works.

And I would recommend going to a truck outfitting store or two, and do a little verbal research. Chat the guys up, and see what they recommend. Although they are mostly out to get your money, they usually have 'better' information than google, or user reviews.

Take everything with a grain of salt.

    my $0.02

    Good luck.

I had good luck with Prodigy's products. DO NOT get a time-based, cheapie. You will hate it.
