    I'm not Ricer Rabbitt but:
    Reexamine the Redarc information, IIRC it had to do with how many axels each unit could supply current to. There was some other operation/activation issue too. The price difference was minimal I picked the more capable unit.

    The Elite allows user-controlled mode which is yes, helpful when you tow a trailer off-road.

    Didn't verify this, but according to the website, it can handle a 3 axle trailer while the Liberty can only handle a 2 axle trailer at most. But, not that we'll be towing triple axle trailers with Tacomas anyways...

    I used my Elite plenty fine on the highway
