    You don’t need to have the app on to use it. You just set it up once. Then you can put your phone on whatever you want. If it loses connection that’s fine, it has the settings stored.

    I keep mine on a MobArmor mount with GPS showing and either Pandora or Spotify playing.

    So, how do you apply brakes to the trailer without applying the vehicle brakes. You know like when the trailer gets a bit squirrely and you want a bit of drag to straighten things out. Or has that practice been lost on the young?

    I’ve been running a sway control kit and haven’t had any issues. When I drive on the coast where it’s windy I give it an extra turn and never had it sway on my at all. I don’t overload my trailer either. Works for me. I’ve kept the app running in the background, my phone doesn’t go to sleep when running the app or GPS
