Just to add to this. There are 2 different size blank replacements for the knob depending on the location. I installed mine on the left by the cubby which is 331-TPSI-007. This is for the empty slot. The ones for the switch blanks in the middle are 331-TPSI-002.

    Hey mate,

which controller you go with really is up to you, if you’re going to be towing on paved roads a majority of the time the Liberty is perfect. If you plan to take your trailer through sand and other off-road environments the Elite is more suited for those.

I didn’t receive any recommendations on local suppliers to you unfortunately.

The switch plate is determined by which location you plan on installing the knob itself.

    @REDARC_Ryan
Order Sunday from the website. Received Thursday in Canada. Awesome service. Though it would take a couple weeks to cross the border.
    Thanks!

Forgot to post on this thread after the finished install last week. Here it is:

Tested it today when I brought the camper home from winter storage. Worked perfectly!

Looks great! What was the install time like, 1, or 2 beers?

There are cleaner options, but I have no issues with my Tekonsha P3. I personally cut my dash quite a bit to get it to fit, so that in itself would turn a lot of people away. It isn’t as clean as the MESO option, but for $0.00 it turned out pretty good.

Hah, I decided to hold off on the beers until after the install. Didn’t want to risk breaking anything pulling apart the dash.

Any trouble putting it in that spot with the grounding screw? Did you use double-sided tape to mount the controller, partially slid under that metal bracket?

I'm looking to do something similar. I'm new to all of this - I don't feel solid about drilling into metal and don't have the ability to fabricate a metal bracket. This looks pretty plug and play, but I'm open to suggestions from the crowd!

No troubles with the ground screw. Just try not to drop it.
I did use double sided tape.
Very plug and play, super easy install. Mine took about an hour in total with no rushing.

Just got my TRD OR and ordered the Redarc controller and ...007 face plate. How do I remove this panel?
    TIA

I popped mine out gently with some flat head screwdrivers. If I had some plastic pry tools I would have used them. Just go slow and easy. It pops out fairly easy. Check out the following. Post #14

Same here. I found a YouTube video showing where to pry with plastic tools. Came right out, glad I didn’t have to remove the entire lower panel.

Tried out my Crawl and MTS features on the 2021 OR, any one know how a Redarc Librty will act in those modes, I'm hoping that it won't affect the trailer.

    Hey Josh!

The Liberty bases its braking off of the brake switch, and inertia sensors. It will read your pedal input, and the data from inertia sensors and act accordingly shouldn't be any different when in those modes.

I have the Tekonsha P3, but the Redarc setup looks a lot cleaner than the Tekonsha P3. P3 works fine though.
