I put Speedbleeders in each brake. Very easy to bleed and replace the brake build in one go, without help. I put in the Stainless Steel Speedbleeders, so no worries about rust.

What types of bleeder systems have people used? I'm thinking of buying the Motive Products bleeder but wondering if that's overkill. How much more work is it to just connect a rubber tube to the bleeder valve and have a helper press the brakes vs using the "power flush" type bleeder?

I have a motive. Best tool I've bought and actually worked as advertised.

I have used a motive pressure bleeder before too, works good.

I bought a Motive and will be doing this on the weekend. My main question now is what order do I do the wheels? It's not in the hayes manual I have and I haven't found an answer yet, but is it the same basic setup for any vehicle? Farthest to closest?

Also, is there anything other than the 4 wheels I need to bleed? On my 01 I had to bleed the load position sensor or whatever that is called, do the 2nd gens need that as well?

I question this only as I recently was told that with ABS systems you bleed just the opposite from the old school: starting with the closest front and working to the furthest rear?

I will gladly be wrong. :frusty: Just seeking clarity.

I’ve only bled mine once in 9 years. I used the Motive Products bleeder
