Noticed that my brake fluid has been need to be filled up more recently. The reservoir was low in late June and noticed again today that it was low, this also causes for the parking break light to come on. I went ahead and topped it off but was wondering if this is normal to add more brake fluid. I got new rear brakes last October and the front are still in good condition, could there possibly be a leak or anyone else experience this?

It's a closed hydraulic system so if you are losing it, there is a leak.

level drops (slightly) as pads wear, fluid compensating for the loss of dimension on the pads

Level drops if there's a leak.

Brakes are important. Get it checked out before you suddenly have none.

PS, Assuming here the statement having new rear brakes only means new shoes and cleaned up drums. Could easily be a leaking wheel cylinder. Or several other possible leak locations.

If you see ne external leaks pull the vacuum check valve off the brake booster and look inside to see if it's full of brake fluid, if it is you will need a new master cylinder and booster.
