Brake issues

I have a 2005 Tacoma pre runner and I’ve been having brake issues since I got the truck. The pedal goes about half way down before it brakes at all. When the brakes are cold, like early in the morning when the temp is about 40° they barely work at all even all the way too the floor. I replaced the brake booster, master cylinder, all brake pads/shoes, rotors and drums, and bled everything numerous times, adjusted drums. Even got the abs module bled. Nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

 

Calipers could be full of crap and sticking or seals shot. Rebuild, get rebuilts, or OEM new ones - many posts.

 

Check that your rear wheel cylinders/shoe adjusters are adjusted (out) correctly. If not, you have to move a lot of fluid before the system sees pressure from the brake pedal.

 

Proper rear drum adjustment by the book.

 

Not trying to be an A-hole, but how competent are you with working with the brakes on ur truck
Seems like a lot of parts changing chasing a specific problem
