Brake Light Comes On When I Make a Right Turn

When I make a right turn my brake light comes on and stays on for several seconds after I straighten out. Light stays off for left turns. I thought maybe my fluid level was really low and the sensor was getting exposed by the centripetal force, but the fluid level is fine (close to max level, but not totally there). Its weird, as I can't think of any other scenario where a right turn could cause such a problem. Any ideas?

Brake fluid does not have to be very low for this to happen. Mine was doing the same thing. Added a splash of fluid and haven't seen the light since.

    Loose connection?
Also examine your e-brake lever/handle. If the adjustment of the cable is slack, the handle can push up off the switch and cause the light to go on. The tension is adjusted under the truck.

I would be willing to bet this is a fluid issue. Also when the light shows and you add that splash of fluid it is a good time to check your break pad wear. I checked mine at the time and I was at about 50% life left. Next time it shines, if there are no leaks, it should be about time to do pad replacement.

First, top up the fluid level TO MAX, and see if that makes a difference. I think it will.

there should be a strainer in the reservoir, this should eliminate the fluid from sloshing on turns

fluid first then check your e-brake handle. its prob just barely slack and needs adjusted, underneath the truck like it was said a few posts back.
