My brake light comes on anytime I accelerate or turn but immediately goes off once I'm crusing in a straight line. Weird thing is not when I'm braking (that I've noticed). Also front and rear brakes have plenty of life and brake fluid is full. Pushing in the ebrake like some do doesn't turn it off. I'm sure it's something simple I just can't find it on here

fill up your brake reservoir with fluid, even being just a 1/4" low or less then that will make the light come on

It's inbetween the min and max Does it need to be more towards the max?

yes, ignore the min line because your light will be coming on by then so always keep it right at the max line or just above. overfilling brake reservoir doesn't hurt anything, its just a cup that holds extra fluid for when and if the brake systems needs more.

As your brake pads/shoes wear, the hydraulic system draws fluid from the reservoir. If you top it off, just be careful the next time you replace the pads/shoes. As you compress the pistons you could force the fluid out the top of the reservoir - and brake fluid will remove paint if not cleaned up immediately.

Alright just topped off the fluid but headed off to class so I'll see if that's it hopefully on the way home! I am aware of the fluid rising as you compress the pistons
