    New to Tacoma World.

I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma with a brake light issue. My left side brake light works perfect but cannot figure out why the right side does not work. Here are the things I have completed so far:
    1. Checked both the interior and under the hood fuses. Since left side is working, hard to figure they would be something wrong there.
    2. I pulled the brake switch and read continuity and of course it is fine.
    3. Changed the bulb with a new one and no joy. Took the working one from the left and tried it-no joy.
    4. Read power to the plug at the bulb and no power.
    5. I have looked the truck over for a corroded or loose grounding wire, but that is a no go.

Is that something I am missing that you SME's could help me with? Is there a wiring connection midstream that I need to check? Can't understand why one side would work and the other does not.

Has to be a broken/corroded wire between the splice and the right side connector.

Thinking the same. I tested power to the trailer electrical outlet and I have power. That puts the problem right where you said. Thanks for the help. Hoping to solve this today.

The trailer plug gets power from a separate source if you have the tow package.
I wish Toyota gave the location of splices like they did on older stuff but they don't provide that info any more, at least not that I've been able to find.
I wouldn't think it would be too far up the harness from the tail lights though.

Wondering if you were able to pinpoint the problem, I am having the same issue with my '19. Thanks!
