Title basically says it. The running lights work fine but when I brake they don’t come on. However, my third brake light works just fine. In addition my front speakers stopped working but rear cab speakers do work. Just checked all the fuses that are under the steering wheel cus that’s where those fuses are supposedly and they’re all fine (not under the hood) unless I’m wrong. Please correct me. I’m not very electrical wire experienced lol.
I’m still researching but thought I’d throw up a post on here too cus why not. Thx in advance.

Saw a guy on here who's skid plate came lose and a rock flew up and sliced his wires clean in half, could inspect the wiring as a start.

Do you have a trailer wiring harness? Those things cause strange issues like that all the time. If not, I'd start poking around under the dash, drivers side kick panel, and then under the drivers seat looking for anything suspicious.

Ah dang! Happens to all of us at least once! I'd be more mad that I had to take the seats out again than fix the wiring tho lol, hate the way those are installed.

This ended up being a lot simpler than I thought. I tend to overcomplicate things sometimes lol.

Turns out the brake light bulbs were in fact bad. I didn’t know that these bulbs have two separate filaments for light. One for runnings lights and another for the brake. Both brake filaments were bad. Both running light filaments were good. Replaced both bulbs, works fine now.

As for the speakers. Somehow my head unit settings reset itself at some point. Since I have aftermarket speakers with an amp my head unit has to be on a certain setting. I also noticed that my A and B odometer reset itself too! I should have a couple thousand on each (one for oil, one for tire rotation). Now they both show 55 miles. ChatGBT seems to think that both the odometer and head unit briefly lost power or ground connection which caused both of these things to rest themselves. So I think I have some sort of electrical bug somewhere that I’ll have to investigate further soon.
