I was trying to replace my front brakes yesterday and I broke the short hardline that is attached to the caliper. Has anyone replaced the whole line from the frame down to the caliper thus eliminating this short piece with braided stainless?
I would need one about 18" long with a straight female on one end and probably a banjo fitting for the caliper side. My internet searches are coming up empty.

All the lines I can find are just vehicle specific, they don't list the length and I can't go by just a picture.

You will have to get something custom made, plenty of places will do this, could call up Galfer or other custom brake specialists.

Good afternoon gents. I just broke my front driver side brake hard line also. I found this thread hoping to find an answer. I think I cross threaded the hard line. Gonna replace the hard line and flex line as well. I called up the toyota dealer and ordered an OEM hard brake line. It was only $8.99. not bad. Hope someone else finds this info helpful. Also, use the right tool for the job.
