brake modulator? bleeding brakes

    okay, Ive bought the SS brake lines, and ordered a set of hawk pads, in the interest of trying to take some of the mushiness out of the system (2010 4x4 V6 tacoma).

    I came across a post online referring to special electronic tools needed to bleed some brakes, Tundras specifically:

    "The modulator can contain 8 - 10 Anti-lock or traction control valves, aswell as other dead end ports and check valves. Some cars have special bleed screws built into the system which make this whole process a lot easier, allowing the air out of all the trapped areas. Others do not have bleed screws and needs a scan tool, which can cycle through the valve system whilst you bleed the mechanism, allowing all of the air to escape"

    Damn. Is this going to complicate things?

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    I think OP is asking about bleeding ABS system

    To OP...
    Just bleed the brakes, then find road with loose ground and steep incline.
    1. Drive forward (down the hill) press brakes until ABS kicks in. Turn around
    2. Drive backwards (down the hill) press brakes until ABS kicks in.

    Bleed your brakes again.
    That should clear out your ABS unit.

    EDIT: I do that on all my cars I just don't feel like spending all that money on Toyota tool. That process works on any ABS system.

    Now to find a hill I can do this on without Maryland's Finest busting me. :(
